Tonight I tried to think of something funny to draw from Talespin, but I couldn't really come up with anything. Instead I decided to draw Shere Khan, who was one of my favorite characters, though I don't think he appreciated manual labor.

Although he was the villain in both the Jungle Book Disney movie and Rudyard Kipling book, Shere Khan was surprisingly neutral on the show. He was a ruthless businessman and did underhanded things, but he wasn't out to take over the world or destroy the good guys. In one episode he paid back Baloo for saving his life, fired an employee who was trying to take over Louie's island, and he punished a sheriff under his employ for mistreating his employees. Although Shere Khan's reasons were strictly business, it showed that how complex he was. In my opinion, Shere Khan was one of the most interesting characters in a Saturday morning cartoon.
